What services or programs does your nonprofit provide?: Homewood offers independent living cottages and apartments, assisted lifestyle apartments, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, respite care and memory care.

Upcoming Events: In addition to myriad activities for our residents throughout Homewood, we have planned the following events: Open house on Dec. 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Altoona Symphony performance in early December for residents and their guests, open houses planned for January and February (weather dependent) and a concert by the Tribute Quartet in May for residents and their guests.

Additional information: The support that Homewood has received over the years is what has sustained us and preserved our ability to offer the highest quality of life for our residents. As we look forward, our plans focus on offering the best possible life for our residents through the amenities and services that we offer, the staff that cares for and supports them and the physical plant that is the place they call home. We continue to provide compassionate, professional and caring service to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Adding life to years is at the heart of Homewood. Homewood embraces the person-centered approach to residential senior living so that individual interests can be maintained and pursued. A variety of services are available to encourage and promote wellness to our residents for their health and well-being.
