KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City residents and area students soon will have another convenient option for treatment when they are in need of care.
Saint Luke’s Health System will open its third Saint Luke’s Urgent Care clinic in Kansas City through a lease agreement with Rockhurst University. The new Urgent Care is located at 52nd and Troost Ave, located on the ground floor of the North Parking Garage. The clinic on Troost Ave will open early this winter.
“Saint Luke’s has a long history of providing the Kansas City community with the best care close to home whenever possible,” said Daphne Bascom, vice president, population health for Saint Luke’s Health System. “Rockhurst University shares Saint Luke’s commitment to excellence and to our community, which makes them a natural fit when providing high-quality health care for people close to where they live and work.”
Saint Luke’s Urgent Care clinic at 52nd Street and Troost Ave. in Kansas City will be staffed by advanced nurse practitioners and offer treatment immediately and with no appointment for conditions like sore throats, sprains, strains and fractures, fever and flu, minor burns and lacerations, as well as ear and sinus infections. The clinic also will offer new patients access for referrals to primary care and specialist physicians throughout Saint Luke’s Health System.

Saint Luke’s Urgent Care-Troost Ave. will be open extended hours on weekdays and weekends, and offer the benefit of patient connectivity through electronic medical records with physicians and specialists throughout Saint Luke’s Health System.
